Lith I'm downloading the Company of Heroes Online beta; I'm going to need lessons / we will need to destroy people in 2v2.

He can't get it to install. Already harassed him about it.

I was d-loading it, but it's way too effing slow, so I cancelled it and installed from the disc for now. I'll let it d-load while I sleep. Prolly be like 3 days. lol

Finally got WoT to install Lith. Hopefully will catch you on tomorrow or so...

Is CoHO another RTS, basically a remake of the first in a free version? Or is there something different im missing?

Yeah. It's a free version of the original CoH with an added twist. You have a "Commander" unit (you) that you earn experience with as you play matches, which in turn are used to upgrade him with new abilities (i.e. off-map artillery, calling in reinforcements, strafing runs, etc.).

Nice thing, it actually includes all 15 of the original SP Campaign missions for free to play through...nice touch IMO for those who never bought the game before.

Finally got to play a little today. Damn download took forever.

Okay, people can still get beta keys for those who are interested. Here is how:

Go to http://contest.mmosite.com/giveaway/world_of_tanks/

Then sign up to create an account. All they require is a valid email address. I just used a spam email for mine. They do not require additional personal info like your name and such, which is nice.

Once you have activated your account, go back to that link I posted above, sign in to the website if you haven't already, then click the button on the page (or link, can't remember which) to claim your beta key.

Once you get your key, go to worldoftanks.com. Click "Join Beta" button and then on the next page click "REGISTER" on the left-hand menu. From there, fill in the information, including your key you received from MMOSite.com and submit. It will then take you to the download page...and you're set.
